The best part of rewatching 24? Reliving how awesome season 7 was for me. 

After a year because of the Writer’s Guild Strike in 2008, season 7 was shaping up to be a breath of fresh air for the series. (It was.)

And it got even cooler when I got to meet Annie Wersching (Renee Walker) as the season kicked off in January 2009. Annie’s from St. Louis (went to Crosshoads High School for all of you “Where’d You Go To High School” people), and had a premiere party for this (her first BIG role) at the Tivoli. 

Well my mom worked in the cafeteria at Vianney (my high school) with a family friend of Annie’s who name-checked her and got ME on the guest list. Yeah…

It was one of the best nights of my life. Annie has not let fame get to her head. She was so gracious and our little chat (before this pic) was so amazing. I was foaming at the mouth asking questions about working with Kiefer, Mary Lynn Rajskub (Chloe) and Carlos Bernard (Tony Almeida). And she answered everyone with such personality and just sheer awesomeness. (She also was a huge fan of the show prior to her casting).

I adore this pic - truly fabulous and just fun. One of the reasons season 7 of 24 is the best in my book.
